MLIT Real Estate Information Library (Real Estate Transaction-Price Information)

Used for regional prices, price trends, prices by station and price factors, and for estimating the “market price” in the auction discount rates. Under the Public Data License (version 1.0, PDL 1.0), secondary use including commercial use is permitted, on condition that the source is credited and the fact of processing is stated. The actual-transaction data, which the government processed so that individual properties cannot be identified, are further aggregated and adjusted here.

MLIT National Land Numerical Information (Official Land Price data)

Used for the land price pages. Under the terms of use of the National Land Numerical Information download site, the source and the fact of processing or editing must be stated. Official land prices are reference information; they are not guaranteed for use in important-matter explanations, building confirmation applications or similar procedures.

MLIT National Land Numerical Information (Administrative Area data)

Used for the municipal boundaries on the maps of regional prices and auction discount rates. Data as of January 1, 2024 (Reiwa 6) were simplified for display (points on boundary lines thinned out), and the outlying islands of Tokyo and small enclaves were omitted. They do not match the actual administrative boundaries. Under the terms of use of the National Land Numerical Information download site (Public Data License, version 1.0), the source and the fact of processing or editing must be stated.

Courts’ Real Estate Auction Information Site (BIT)

Used for the auction discount rates. From the past sale results published by the courts, only the figures for winning bid, reference sale price, area, construction year and municipality are aggregated. We do not reproduce documents or images from that site, nor information on individual properties or cases. This site is an unofficial tally unrelated to the courts, and the courts do not guarantee it.
